Squeaky Green started as a cleaning service in Atlanta, Georgia. Thrown together with a mop and broom balanced on the handlebars of a bicycle, I cleaned hundreds of houses. From day one Squeaky Green used handmade and homemade cleaning products. We kept the formulas that worked and scrapped what couldn’t rise to the challenge. I was surprised by what a few simple and safe ingredients could accomplish. I began learning as much as I could about the inherent cleaning properties of natural materials. I read the latest science and researched the old fashioned ways of doing things. Our products today are the few recipes that stood the test of time.
